Three weeks in a row for What's on Your Workspace Wednesday! I think it's because I missed the fantastic three year celebration Julia had and now I don't want to miss anything fun! Plus, so many wonderful crafters post there and since I am still relatively new to WOYWW I am loving slowly getting to know them. A lot of people participate every week. Well, over 100. But I am starting to recognize and look for some familiar names :)
I thought I would give you a glimpse of my space at night since I usually post daytime photos :) I had to cover up my project a little bit, but you can get a peek there. My space is a little messier this week for me, but I have a feeling it is still not messy enough for some (lol). I am just not a messy, messy scrapper. Which is ironic because being a preschool teacher for so many years, we did a lot of messy projects. But me myself, I like a nice clean workspace to create :)
And since it's Wednesday, I also have a post up with a new favorite layout some of you may have seen already at the challenge blog Craft Your Nest. So if you are up for a little scrapbook challenge, you may want to check it out! :)
Hope you all have a lovely Wednesday!
I love having a look at your craft space, I keep telling myself it is not really a treehouse and OH says No, I can't have one too, but I still love yours........and I think tidy is best, when you are working on something, otherwise messy is fine. Yours is sooo tidy.........Happy WOYWW, Anne x #43
ReplyDeleteI think your space is perfectly messy. I need everything within reach, but have to work neatly, also. It is just the OCD in me. Dani22
ReplyDeleteI love to see all the fun craft spaces. I can't work it into my schedule more than once or twice a month, but it is fun! :) And I wouldn't call this messy compared to some of the spaces I see.....
ReplyDeleteI'm not a messy scrapper either. I need it neat or I just can't create. LOL! Thank you for your sweet comment on my blog today. To answer your question, I have a wide format printer so I just run the 12x12 cardstock through my printer. For someone who may not have one, you could print on a 4x12 piece (just for an example) and adhere it to a 12x12, covering the seam with the strips of PP like on my page. :)
ReplyDeleteNope...you will never win the messy desk contest. lol
ReplyDeleteLovely neat space. I'm afraid I am one of those messy crafters. I always end up working in a tiny portion of my desk!
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW

It looks great! And right now...I think I could use a little 'less mess' for once! LOL! (On mine, that is...not yours....yours is fabulous!)
ReplyDeleteyour desk looks great -- i hate a lot of clutter!
ReplyDeleteOH, that is NOT messy! Ha! Your space looks beautiful even at night!
ReplyDeleteNot messy at all Mary Jo! I would love to have 2 big windows at my craft space! Lucky you! There's nothing better than natural light. :)
ReplyDeleteI just LOVE your craft space! I'm a big "windows" person! I might have trouble keeping focused on my projects though with that view! Nice camera! Valerie #55
ReplyDeleteOoohhhh, a nighttime shot, love the ambiance. Ha! Is that woodgrain paper under there??? Can't wait for that!

You have lots of great stuff, and I'm sure the sunsets are so enjoyable. I did join Craft your Nest hope to join in some challenges now that school is out (saw you taught preschool, I taught K for 30+ years) Barb #31
ReplyDeleteStill don't know how you get anything done with that location, so tempting to stare out of the window, day or night.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting earlier - only just back from a day out in the sunshine.

Lots of interest on your specious desk. Thanks for sharing your workspace with us. Hope you have a good week. Hazel WOYWW #87 x
ReplyDeleteI love how everything is laid out around you. All to hand.
ReplyDeleteHello from the DoodlynBirds
Lynn. 73
It's good to find out there are more 'clean crafters' :-) I can't work on a messy desk and I hate dirty fingers. Maybe that's the reason I sometimes craft with fabric. Thanks for visiting me and hope you have a crafty week. Bye, Franka
ReplyDeleteLove your crafting area - I can't work in mess either and searching for stuff is a pointless waste of time, so I like to know where everything is!!
ReplyDeleteI read your previous post - gorgeous pics of everyone. Your OH looks a really nice guy :)
Hugs, LLJ #72 xx
that spot is just to die for! And, it looks spic and span to me! LOL!
ReplyDeleteIt is a very tidy work space! and with a lovely view outside too, only I wouldn't like the window uncovered at night, I might scare someone if they walk by, with all my mess! HaPpY wOyWw!
ReplyDeleteHave a great crafty week

Looks pretty neat to me lol
ReplyDeleteI love your "messy" workspace. Mine is a disaster right now! I've spread out to the floor too! My goal for tonight is to clean it, but I'll probably get distracted and scrap!
ReplyDeleteYou have so many great things to look at and that is not messy at all. I get to the point that I have to move things just to work and I only photograph my desk, you should see what's behind me. Probably better you don't see it !
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.

I love your desk right at the window. Oh the light you get is wonderful. I used to kind of have to work in chaos and thought that that was what worked best for me but I learned slowly, that a clean workspace is much much more calming and allows my muse to come play. Now it is 50-50 (messy/clean). See you down the road at WOYWW, *smiles* Norma
ReplyDelete...it's always loVely visiting your craft space & nice to see a desk in action shot, looks interesting and still all neat but your surrounded by pretty things...thank you for dropping by me have a wonderful day & thanks for sharing...Mel :)
ReplyDeleteLovely corner you have there - and looking forward to the reveal of your secret work.
ReplyDeleteThanks for calling in to me - the little house - you can see lots of samples in my posts 4th and 5th October last as I did a workshop on them.
Hugs, Neet '21 xx
I don't think your desk is messy at all just very creative! I wish I had a corner desk in a window like that and I am envious of all the light. Have a great week and thanks for commenting on my blog. Vickie @23
ReplyDeleteLove your craft space and so much light too. What are you up to....mmmm very interesting. I'd love a tidy space but it never seems to happen so I admire anyone who manages it. Look forwards to seeing your finished project, thanks for sharing, hugs Erika. #83
ReplyDeleteLovely desk - wish I could be as tidy as you!

I love your workspace, Lots going on there, sorry I'm a bit late, thanks for sharing x

I love windows! But dang, they need blinds at night. I don't want the neighbors spying on me. I've decided that there are two kinds of messy crafters--those who make clutter and those who get ink and the like all over themselves and the area. I make clutter but I hate, hate, hate, getting ink, glitter, glue, etc. all over. I would prefer to not have the clutter either but it just magically appears. I do think I tidy up my desk a lot more often than many of the folks on WOYWW, and not nearly as much as others do. That what makes this fun.
ReplyDeleteYour scrap space looks awesome!!
ReplyDeleteI have laways loved your scrap space!!
I think its fun doing this every Wednesday! I might need to try this and join in!!
It would help me to stay motivated and scrap more!!
happy WOYWW! i love your corner desk (have i said it before?) and i also like a nice clean workspace. my desk just won't cooperate with me!
ReplyDeletehugs, #15 peggy aplSEEDS
Can't wait to see that finished project! Looks good.
ReplyDeleteOh. NO, i dont want YOU to be more messy, I want to be more like You!! Makes me smile that you take a photo of your desk for us and the mother of all cameras is actually in the photo!!
ReplyDelete(lol) Julia - I always use my point and shoot to take photos of my work space. I don't know why. I was using the big camera for a photo tutorial. But I should have just grabbed it for my desk, too!
