This photo was taken of me on our way back from the Statue of Liberty in 1988. I was on a school trip to New York City. It was a great trip! We saw Broadway shows, and shopped and did all the typical sight seeing. And it was even better to be there with friends :) Little did I know how this photo would affect me when I found it a few years ago. It has an entirely different meaning.
I'm glad I have these photos though. And I keep telling myself I will scrapbook about 9/11 one day. If I do, I'm sure I will use these photos. But not yet.
My prayers and thoughts are with all those who lost family on that day ten years ago.

ReplyDeleteI was in Jr. High when the attacks happened and I can vividly remember staring at the live news coverage in class. I still can't believe it happened. Those are great photos though, treasure them!
