It's time for What's on Your Workspace Wednesday! I am linking up over at Julia's blog today for our weekly peek into each others creative spaces. I have to say, mine is not very exciting this week.
Seriously being over run by my kids which I love! No really, I do. :) That is Erin's Angry Birds mask from her party. And a little journal page of her's on the right. Under the mask is a pile of Evan's drawings. And then some other pile there. Also some scraps and fall scrapbook product to put away.
I finished all of my current design team projects only to receive the September kit from Scrapbooking From the Inside Out today. The September kit!! Feels funny to be brainstorming ideas for September already :)
I also have a post up at the Craft Your Nest challenge blog today.
Talking about triangles and scrapbooking :)
Would love for you to take a peek if you have time.
If not, I will see you next Wednesday.
Have a great week!
My work space gets over run by items that do not belong to me either. Let's see...notebooks, markers, containers of art supplies, white boards, laptops, and so on. LOL! Makes me feel right at home...and claustrophobic. :)
ReplyDeletei share my desk with my boys and they always have their stuff all over their side! but i wouldn't have it any other way! i love that they are always right with me!
ReplyDeleteI love when I get all caught up and then happy mail arrives for me to play with! Always fun! And...I officially want to see a pic of you in that angry birds mask. HAHAHAHA! :)
ReplyDeleteEvery time I see a picture of your scrap space, I'm a little bit jealous of that view. :) My scrap space is in our basement with no windows.
ReplyDeleteI always seem to have Legos or army men on my desk too. I wouldn't have it any other way either.
My scro area is always over run by Emma's stuff! Off to check out post.
ReplyDeleteCute little mask on your desk! You still have more going on then me.
ReplyDeleteLove the bird mask. Thanks for sharing your workspace. Hope you have a good week. Hazel WOYWW #99 x

ReplyDeleteI hear you about the September dt stuff--I'm supposed to be working on some Halloween/fall projects!
ReplyDelete:)trisha, #113 this week with a quilted inchie
I noticed the Angry Bird right away, and I don't even know what an angry bird is (A game? A TV show? ?!). I'm impressed that you have finished up all your projects and kits. I always have good intentions... but then they don't happen. The kit I have on my desk is from May I think. All in good time... Have fun playing with the September kit.
ReplyDeleteIt's a very popular game that you can play on your smart phone or ipads. My kids love it! :)
DeleteAngry birds..lol...my boys love that. I even made an angry birds cake once!
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting piece about triangles you did on the other post. I love things that come in threes, they just seem to work better. I plant things in odd numbers in the garden! This is making me sound really weird, but I do agree with you!
Hugs, LLJ #13 xx
I love the angry bird mask! I'm off to check out the triangles and scrapbooking post! I love triangles and threes (I'm not really sure why), so I'm excited to read it!
ReplyDeleteHi Mary Jo I always love to see your light and airy work desk but this week I think you'll find there's one angry bird there. LOL!
ReplyDeleteHave fun with all you different projects.
Thanks for sharing and visiting my space.

It's fun to see kids stuff around, I miss those days of doing projects with my son when he was little. Enjoy those special moments!
ReplyDeleteWe thought we spied an angry bird there. We can't help wondering what could be crafted with that. :)
ReplyDeleteI was inspired and posted my desk too, although it was empty today waiting on my studio calico kit.
ReplyDeleteMy desk looks like that at times too, what are ya gonna do though? :)
ReplyDeleteIKWYM! I loving the fun times with Ellie too!
ReplyDeleteI will miss it when she goes back to school so I'm not looking forward to that-LOL!
Love the angry bird mask!!
It looks like you are hiding some yummie lettering under that binder paper..... I love having my children who are adults home too but sometimes it is nice to have the house to myself.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting me

That's a fab angry mask you have on there and if I am looking at the right thing I do like the journal page done by your daughter.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing - Hugs, Neet xx #36
Your kids just want to be a part of mom's fun! Sometimes when I'm waiting and don't have a book I play angry birds (with the sound turned off, of course). Love that game.
ReplyDeleteYesterday was my blog anniversary - candy will be announced soon. As part of the candy I'm offering up something made by me -- so come visit and cast your vote (if you've already been - thank you. I'm trying to visit everyone this week so haven't checked in on my comments lately).
Happy WOYWW

Love that your desk is filled with childrens things.
ReplyDeleteI miss those days...maybe not the mess, but they young ones.
Enjoy the time with them, they grow up way to fast.
Glad you're having fun with the kids in the Tree House. Like you, I'm glued to the Olympics. My worry is, what on earth are we going to do with ourselves once it's all over? At least we've got the Paralympics to look forward to, and that will keep me going for a while!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit.
Happy belated WOYWW,

Love the Angry Birds mask! Looks like fun. I agree, I'm not ready to use the word September in a sentence just yet. It's coming too fast.
ReplyDeleteMy room is a dumping ground for anything and anyone in this house, so I know what you mean. Love the Angry Bird mask.
ReplyDeleteHave ag reat week.

Sometimes life gets in the way of crafting, either that or it's of the Olympics. That's definitely the case for me.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting me earlier. Bit late getting round this week
