But since my design team projects are complete and I don't have any due for several weeks, I haven't been scrapbooking as much as I would like except for my Summer Project Life title page which I shared on the last post.
I do have projects planned and in the works as you can see here...
There is Project Life in the center with my PL planning notebook just to the left.
A big pile on the left with sketches I am dying to work with.
And down on the floor, I still have my Florida album in progress.
Tomorrow the kids are with my neighbor for a few hours since I will be watching her two on Tuesday. So my plan is to work on one or more of these projects. Most likely Project Life and then a sketch or two afterwards.
Do you find yourself scrapbooking more or less in the summer?
Just wanted to share another photo before I go. I love summer sunsets! Here is a photo from Saturday night from my scrapbook office. I looked up and it seemed as if the sky was on fire! This photo just can't do it justice, but I had to try and get a photo anyway.
And two movies we are looking forward to here...
and...
Any movies you are looking forward to this summer?
oh i scrap way less in the summer. we are always on the go. right now i have to make 13 projects that are due for the next 3 weeks and i am just trying to figure out how i am going to fit them all in. LOL!!
ReplyDeletewe are headed to monsters next week. can't wait!!
Also looking forward to Monsters, Despicable Me 2 and The Lone Ranger. I scrap about the same in the summer, especially when the weather is hot outside, like it will be this week!
ReplyDeleteI scrapbook less in the summer unless it gets really hot then we all hide in the basement and I scrapbook.
ReplyDeleteWe saw Monsters University on Saturday and LOVED it!!!! And I get about the same scrapping done all year round, I get up early on the weekends and create before the family wakes up! LOL!!
ReplyDeleteI definitely scrap less in the summer, especially this summer with both DH and DD home. We saw Monsters U last week and we're looking forward to Despicable Me 2.
ReplyDeletelove the view outside your crafty space! i am productive in waves, regardless of the seasons. a few of us are excited to go see Despicable Me 2!
ReplyDeleteLove seeing your photos, and I scrap the same year round. We also want to see the movie. Can't wait!
ReplyDeleteI scrap about the same year round. Although I noticed I am not using my Netflix very much and need to rethink my subscription. I am also lookign forward to all the new Monster's movie as well as the new Despicable Me
ReplyDeleteI would say I scrapbook about the same. And I am looking forward to both of those movies as well!
ReplyDeleteI scrap whenever I can grab time - seems to go in spurts for sure - long pause, then a whirl of activity :) Your home reminds me so much of ours that we moved from in NC!
ReplyDeleteI scrap less in the summer too, with the kiddos home it definitely makes it harder to find time. The funny thing is I take way more photos in the summer lol. I can't wait for Monsters too hopefully thi weekend we will go and see it :)
ReplyDeleteI'd say that I scrap more during the summer, since I have the summers off and all to myself (teacher). Yesterday and today I've not been in the scrapping/crafting groove but I'm hoping to get back in tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteI probably scrapbook less in the summer, because we do a lot of traveling. However our church has a monthly crop and a nearby store has started doing one as well. So with the two crops combined, I can hopefully make up for the traveling time. I also like to take my scrapbooking along with me so I can work on it early in the morning before my husband is up and in the evenings while resting from our days of sightseeing.
ReplyDeleteI tried to upload a picture, but I couldn't get it to work.
ReplyDeleteI seem to papercraft...scrapbook or make cards, less in the summer. It is just a busy time of year for us! But I do a little and it all balances out in the end.
ReplyDeleteWe are away at the moment so not doing any crafting at all, just doing a bit of catching up at the moment. Glad to hear you are enjoying the summer so far. Hugs, Anne xx
ReplyDeleteWell, this year I'm Scrapbooking less. A lot less. We have so much going on and are having such a good time too! Both of those movies are on our list!!
ReplyDeleteI want to do more scrapping in the summer, but this summer is a bit crazy. I was in NY for a week, home for a week, I'm at a teacher training this week, I'll be home for a week, at another training for 3 days, home for 9, then back in New York for a little over a week. Wow. Its a lot! It doesn't leave me much time to scrap :(
ReplyDeleteWe are looking forward to both of those movies too! We're just really big kids hahaha
I would love to see both of those movies.
ReplyDeleteSummer isn't too bad with Emma since she is still little and not too busy yet with activities. Just have to entertain or she is bored ;)
I was thinking I would slow down but realized not gonna happen. Can't get too far behind.
Well, it sounds like you are having tons of fun - scrapping or not!
ReplyDeleteThat sunset is stunning. I can just imagine you sitting high up in your treehouse watching this. Gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI do less of all crafts during the summer...well I guess thats not true as I do work in my camp journals all summer.
We took the kids to Monsters University last night. Cute movie, but it was in 3D - not sure why (seemed like a cash grab).
ReplyDeleteI scrap less in the Summer too!
ReplyDeleteWe just saw the MU last Friday and next Wednesday we will see the other movie you shared!
I love all the fun cartoon movies they always have for the kids each Summer!
That one will the snail come out in 2 weeks we plan on seeing that one too can't remember the name of it?
I actually scrapbook more in the summer. I'm not a fan of the FL summer heat so spend most of it inside. Sounds bad but when I can be out in January enjoying the warm and sun, it totally makes up for it! Love sunset photos, especially ones like this when you look up and its just waiting for you to capture. :)
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog and Im loving it! I'm reading the Casual Vacancy as well (:. I scrap much more in summer as I don't have to study and I have much more time! I looking forward to watching those two movies as well lol
ReplyDeleteOh, I would never call you a slacker, Mary Jo. LOL You're the busiest person I *know*. You always seem to be doing something with your family!!
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to "The Heat" with Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy.
lol I know what you mean we have been on the go too!
