Things are good here, but extremely busy.
The kids are off school until January 6, so I don't seem to have a lot of free time to myself.
I did want to stop by and take a little time today to let you know a few things.
1. I am up on the Paper Issues blog today with a short post.
2. Christmas went well.
Erin was able to see Santa despite the crowds. And we did lots of fun things like bake sugar cookies and visit with family.
Out of all her gifts, I think this was her favorite :) Forget the big Lego Friend Yacht. Doesn't compete with Mike W. from Monsters Inc.!
Evan did well for himself, too, but he is still not to fond of me posting his photo these days, so I am respecting that.
3. And as for the blog. I am doing a lot of thinking on how I want to use it this upcoming year. 2014 is going to be a year of change and setting goals for myself. I know I will still be blogging and scrapbooking. But I also know I am going to be focusing even more on "healthy living" and working my way back into teaching. So it will be all about choices and balance. More on that next week when I get back to blogging more regularly. :)
Sorry I have not been visiting blogs as much. That will be back on schedule next week as well. Taking time this week to enjoy having Mike and the kids home full time despite the upheaval to our schedule. It's a good thing!
Happy New Year!!!
I LOVE Mike!!!!! Great photos!!! Glad you had a great Christmas!!!!
ReplyDeleteI can totally understand Erin loving Mike, he is my favourite from Monsters Inc too. You really have had a busy time, not surprised you have not had much time for blogging. Enjoy the rest of the holiday season and hope you have a very happy and healthy New Year! Hugs, Anne x
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year Mary Jo! Love that Mike! :) Sounds like you've been busy, busy! Enjoy the rest of the time off with the kids. I'm contemplating my blog schedule for 2014 too because something have to give. I can't do as much as I want to do and there's so much more going on now. I'm not giving it up....but just can't be as active either. You are not the only one.
ReplyDeleteGood for you spending time with the kids - enjoy it!! We'll all be here! :)

ReplyDeleteWishing you all a very Happy new year
Glad to hear you guys had a good Christmas. The kids are having a wonderful break, my Mike is home now too and I go back to work on Thursday. It's so different with everyone home for more than just a weekend. I'm trying to figure my blog out too. I have let my creating slide, so I don't have a lot to post and that's most of my problem. I need to reevaluate and I'm thinking three days a week may work for me, which was what I was trying to do before the big basement move/holidays :) Hope you guys have a great New Year's Eve!
ReplyDeleteSeems like so many of us are re-evaluating our blogging. Hope we can all stay connected!
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a good Christmas-my little guy got the Sully to match your Mike W! I'll have to take a picture of him with it and post it to the blog. :)
