WOYWW 169 and Craft Your Nest

Welcome to What's on Your Workspace Wednesday! I am linked up over at Julia's blog Stamping Ground with a lot of other crafters sharing what we are working on today.
I actually took my photo last night. I just did a big clean up of my finished projects and am ready to start working on my Mother-in-Law's Ireland trip album again. I took a little break and actually met with her this morning to go over a few ideas.
So wanting to finish a few more pages before getting started on my design team projects for next month!

I can't believe it is almost September already.
Both of my children started school on Monday!
This is just the photo from my camera :) I cannot believe my youngest is in Kindergarten!! It just doesn't seem possible. But with both children in school full time, I am trying to decide what project to start on around the house first!

And since it is Wednesday, I also have a post up on the Craft Your Nest blog today titled "escaping with kits".
Hope you have a wonderful Wednesday!

  3. You are such a clean scrapper, I make a huge mess with each project I create, LOL! Love the pic of the kiddos, they are so cute. I also wanted to say that I love the layout you posted in your last post. I can totally agree with your journaling. I might have to lift that idea.

  5. A nice and tidy craft space - an interesting task doing a trip album, I am sure your mother in law will be very happy! Lovely kids, school time for me is gone forever - my daughter is 27! But I still have lovely memories of wraping books and buying new stuff for school! Enjoy until you can!

  12. I just love visiting your workspace in the tree. I so want to come live there. I promise not to be a bother! The kiddos are looking great. How exciting for the youngest to be off to school. I loved school as a kid, not so much as I got older but I work at one now so something must have stuck.

Is there a school dress code? I ask because I notice at the school bus stops I pass on the way to work that the kids are all dressing alike--rather like this.

    1. I removed the double comment, Judy. Blogger had a hiccup :)
And they do have a dress code.
It is nice because it simplifies things~!

  17. Hi Mary Jo I always love your light desk with the double aspect windows. Enjoy a little more time to yourself with the kids at school....I get busier and busier each year! I always plan to do so much and never end up doing much, LOL. Happy crafting and enjoy what's left of Wednesday, thanks for popping by.

  18. Looks like a lot of planning going on with your desk today. You won't know what to do with yourself now you have all that time. Your kids are adorable and they grow up so fast.
Have a great time crafting in peace.

  19. Hi Mary Jo,

Your kids are just too cute! Kindergarten is a big step. I still remember my teacher, Mrs. M. She taught me to wink! Now, I can't tell you who my third or fourth grade teachers were!

I know what it's like to want to finish one project before starting another. Sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't!

    Thanks for visiting me already.

    Happy WOYWW

  21. How did the kids do with the start of school? They are so cute together! Alexa doesn't start until next Wednesday, then I'll have to find a "new" routine to get into. :) Have fun with your projects. I hope they come together easily.

  22. Hi Mary Jo! I always love the windows right next to your desk. Nice to see nature while you create goodies inside. Love to see that Ireland album when you finish it. I bet it is going to be great.

Your kids look around the same ages as mine. I have an 8 going on 9 year old and a now 5 year old who is starting kindergarten this year too! I am a little sad to lose him with me but I am so excited about all the possibilities while they are both in school full-time. I can focus on craft projects and even relax when I have a doctor's appointment. Imagine that! So we must keep in touch and trade joys of the process.

Thanks for sharing and have a great week.
