What's Going On?

Around here?
Lots of this...
Photo from yesterday morning after Mike shoveled and cleaned off my car. :)

and the backyard! Haven't checked how many official inches fell back there, but we went outside to play after lunch.
No school here yesterday, so we spent part of the morning playing...
"Guess Who". They teamed up on me. And I love that she is always trying to mimic him, although he doesn't love it. :)

The view from my scrap porch windows was also snow covered :)
So I pulled out this...
to work on for a little while. A sketch, some instagram photos and the new Amy Tangerine "Yes, Please" line was perfect. And after I get a few photos, I will share the completed layout on Thursday :)

And this came yesterday as well...
The Paper Bakery's March kit. Going to give them a try :) I love that little piece of flair that comes with it!

What's going on where you are?

  1. We love Guess Who too but now that I think about it, we haven't played in a while. :) Thankfully the snow has pretty much stayed away. We had company all weekend so I am playing catch up this week. Have a great day, Mary Jo!

  5. Oy, the snow, don't get me started! So ready for spring here! The sun is shinning today, so maybe some meltiwill occur :) Love that you had a snow day. That picture of Evan and Erin is too cute. Guess who was one of my favorite games as a kid, might need to pick that one up for the girls! Can't wait to see your finished layout!

  7. Hi Mary Jo, it is nice to see that it is not just us here in the UK with snow......only ours is unwanted and unusual, as well as being bitterly cold (also unwanted). All the poor little daffodils are dying in the garden. Your view of the snow looks amazing though. Hugs, Anne x

  9. Wow, and I've been complaining that it's cold here, at least we aren't buried in snow! It looks like you are putting the cold weather to good, scrappy, use though! x

  10. I am hearing bloggers all over complaining about the snow after the official start of Spring, but wow, that is really beautiful! Here in TX, we rarely see that aspect of Mother Nature and it is glorious indeed! Can't wait to see how your layout came out.

  11. Emma doesn't remember seeing snow and wants to see it and build a snowman. We will have better luck traveling where there is snow!

Can't wait to see what you make!!

  12. Wonderful goodies "I spy". Our snow is finally nearly all gone. Just a few piles here and there in the yard. Hoping to hit 50 this easter...maybe our spring has finally arrived.

  14. The snow is so pretty Mary Jo!! We never get to see anything like that, so far down South! :) You are going to LOVE the Kit from The Paper Bakery!! It is a fabulous Kit Club and I always drooled over Sarah's Kits, before I ever joined the Team!!

  15. Even though I am so tired of snow, it sure looks pretty after a fresh fall of it.
Looking forward to seeing your layout :)

  16. Wow that's a lot of snow for late March! Overhere all the snow is gone, but it's freezing to the bones, which is not really normal for us during this time of year. I'm not a winter person, so I'm totally done with it....

  19. Looks like you are living in snowland. We got a bit of snow last week, but it's melted now, thank goodness.

I'm excited to see your completed layout.

I have been organizing in my scraproom. Still have a long way to go, but every little bit is good.

  21. That is a lot of snow! We missed the storm by about an hour. I was sad, because I miss snow, but glad we weren't driving in it!

The kids look so cute playing Guess Who. Its adorable that Erin tries to copy everything Evan does! I hope you all had a fantastic time during the snow day.

I can't wait to see the layout you made, and what you do with the new kit!
