The Book List

This is my second list with the "Lists With Friends 2014" project.
And you will probably see quite a few like it this year.
I usually like to share the books I am reading or getting ready to read.
This is my current "to be read" pile from the library.
All except the top book.
I won that from my friend Tammy's blog. :)

1. Gilt Trip - (Laura Childs) This one is from a scrapbook mystery series that I have been following. Although I may have missed one or two. We'll have to see. I really hate reading series out of order.

2. Ruby Red -

This post is part of a list-making project called Lists With Friends 2014, an effort to document the year in lists of all types!

  6. Oh my gosh! And I just googled it to add to my list and it seems like they are all in Louisiana/New Orleans! YAY! Seriously, you have no idea how much finding these books just made my day :)

  7. Stephen King is such a prolific writer! I have not seen this one yet, must keep my eyes open for it and I do love a good mystery. I love Donna Leon books as they are all set in Venice and I re-read them over and over just to get the feel of that beautiful city. I am intrigued now about the scrapbook mystery series now...... Enjoy your reading. Anne x

  10. Looks like a good list! I've been wanting to start reading Laura Childs's books. She is from the Twin Cities! Do you think it's necessary to read the series in order, or could I start anywhere?

    1. In my honest opinion, I would start at the beginning if you can. Then you get all the back stories. But there is enough info shared in each book so you are not totally lost. I just prefer to read a series in order. Although I didn't with the JD Robb murder mysteries and occasionally wish I had.

  14. I'm reading Postcards from the Dead right now, the book preceding Guilt Trip. Somehow I figured out I had missed one! I hate reading out of order too :) I love Diane Mott Davidson's series and didn't know she had a new one out! So excited about that!
